My Week in Pics – Serenity and the Outdoors
I just got back from a Road Trip! We travelled out to country Victoria for a bit of family time. There was patchy reception out there, so I’m checking in a bit late. I hope your adventures have continued!
On Monday the little dude cried and cried. I ended up crying too, rang the hubster at work, who rang a wonderful friend, who came around and watched the little guy while I went for a grounding dip. Coogee Ladies Baths just before they shut at sunset was the perfect circuit-breaker so I could go back and face the rest of the evening.
While I’m busy making some enormous shifts in everything in my life, these are words to live by.
Wednesday is mothers’ group day! I feel very lucky that I have an awesome mothers group and look forward to it every week. Here’s the baby gossip circle while we had our own gossip circle eating lunch.
Sunset at Coogee. Serene. Solo. Peaceful.
Road trip!!! My awesome sister and I set off into the country outside Melbourne (little boy in the back seat, big boys followed after work). We laughed, we lunched, we loved the open roads.
Mansfield is a lovely little ski town near Mt Bullar (one of the Victorian ski fields). So we explored cute little sweet shops, an amazing shed full of ‘stuff’ and played a very intense game of checkers*!
Hiking makes me happy, and I think conversation is better when we’re hanging out with nature. So we strapped the little guy into the ergo and walked up Mt Bullar.
And one we were up there, he smiled.
Now over to you!
What adventures will you have this week? Share your pics on Instagram using the hashtag #theeverydayadventure.
I’ll see you out there having fun!
*also called draughts. I would like to say I won, but I made a fatal error resulting in the loss of three kings, and it ended in stalemate.
