My Week in Pics – Sometimes We Just Need to Stop
This week I was tired.
I had a big week last week, a number of days when I left the house to go to the gym (hello #projectmilf) around 830 and didn’t get back home until after dinner. So this week I shifted, and just rested. Sometimes the adventure is in taking time for yourself, and giving yourself what you need.
Oh HAI! Horse riding makes me feel better no matter what’s going on beforehand. (if you have any neverfail, feel good activities I’d love to know what they are for future sleepy weeks!)
Sometimes, you just need to rest.
This #projectmilf picture got a lot of Insta-love!
So here’s the recipe:
- 1 whole coconut (water and flesh)
- half an avocado
- 1/2c frozen blueberries
- shake of cinnamon
- tablespoon chia seeds
- about 1/3 tin of coconut cream (I had it in the fridge leftover from another recipe)
- 2 eggs
Throw it all in the blender and whizz until smooth!
I faced some fears today, and applied to speak at The Blog Society’s Retreat as part of Sydney Vivid. Cross your fingers I get accepted, people!
Today was Future Sound of Yoga’s monthly trip to Sydney. I totally love these dudes, so got my yoga mat there and loved them again!
Family roadtrip!! We took a journey up the coast to Newcastle to visit friends, and the beach. Love a roadtrip, and love even more that we can sort it with a babe in arms!
Farmers markets in a new place, lunch with friends, chatting on the couch… exactly what a Sunday should be, before we road tripped back down to Sydney with a sleeping babe in the backseat.
