My Weeks in Pics – Lots of People
These weekly posts are like my little illustrated gratitude journal*. I love looking back and reminding myself what a rad time I had last week! Incidentally, I got an email today from The Happiness Institute saying that it’s helpful to remember positive events, because:
Remembering positive events creates powerful positive emotions that then assist us in the present to build an even better future.
So if you want to join me in some recent reminiscing, hashtag your photos with #theeverydayadventure and I’ll come and share the happy memory with you!
Fun things that happened this week were:
I don’t watch a lot of TV. When I do it’s normally really bad reality TV (seriously, who doesn’t love The Bachelor???) and I normally binge watch. Sunday night turned into Monday morning as the husbandito and I cozied up on the couch to watch Downton Abbey episode after Downton Abbey episode (neither reality NOR trash teev, but certainly a binge!).
I started pulling out pictures to make a vision board about 3 months ago. They had piled up, and what is supposed to be a fun, exciting, creative activity had turned into a chore. So on Tuesday I hung out with Amanda Daley from Fuel Urban Wellness, we vision-boarded and ate lunch, and I love what I ended up with!
The finished product. Love!
Wednesday was a rad day! Though busy. I left the house at 9am and didn’t return until 6pm, both the little dude and I were tired after our day of activity (#projectmilf – ing at the gym, mothers group in Coogee, a horse ride and a fantastic B School catch up).
I have an amazing network of online biz ladies and we had a human catch up. I like hanging out with people so it was fun.
I went to visit a friend with an adorable new bambino, and got really excited about the view from her home. Oh our fair city is beautiful!
Friday night took me back to uni days… I went on a harbour cruise to celebrate a wedding! I love this pic, our attempt at the best ever selfie. With a few less famous people.
And just because I loved my headpiece, here’s my costume in its full glory.
The hubster and I Alphabet Date. We’ve been taking it slowly of late (there were a few disruptions, like having a baby), but we finally made it to W! We took a trip to Wattamolla Beach in the Royal National Park and WOWSERS it was wonderful.
I studied nutrition at the Institute for Integrative Nutrition. It’s the basis behind #projectMILF and I used to be a health coach before I changed my focus to living a life worth loving here at the Everyday Adventure. They ran their first ever Australia conference this weekend, and it was so wonderful to connect with amazing like-minded healthy interesting peeps and hear some inspirational speakers. The one-and-only Joshua Rosenthal enthralled us all. I came away excited and motivated to make this biz amazing!
Now over to you!
What adventures will you have this week? Share your pics on Instagram using the hashtag #theeverydayadventure.
I’ll see you out there having fun!
*so this is a story for another day, but I hear people talk about gratitude journals and think *yaaaawn*. But now I seem to have settled on my own little gratitude expression, and love sharing the week’s adventures. Even when sometimes the adventure is small.
